Kirsten is inspired by memories and things, patterns and places; the treasures we collect throughout lifeand their remembered or imagined histories. Tiny details are observed and imagined, combined and layered within each piece, a story waiting to be read and interpreted by the viewer. Every piece tells a story and the narrative can be traced through the text, maps, stamps and foundfragments. A full-time Artist, originally trained in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Kirsten has a studio in Henley on Thames and exhibits her work in galleries throughout the U.K.
