This beautiful Amber jar is 6.5 cm high and 6 cm in diameter and holds 120g of soy wax, which will burn for around 22 hours. All our candles are hand-poured by us and made in small batches using only essential oils.
ABOUT CUCUMBER WOODA woodland in Caversham was the inspiration for Ruth Martin the owner/maker to name her business "Cucumber Wood". Ruth is inspired by many botanical essential oils, finding lovely natural combinations for her scents. Ruth presents her candles using pretty styling with a vintage twist - the old fashioned type-writer font inspired her labelling. Ruth is inspired by caring for the enviorment, with products that are all natural and packaging that is reusable and recyclable.
Amber Jar Candle, Orange and Cinnamon
On first lighting, keep your candle lit until the melted wax covers the full surface of the container; this will prevent a dipped effect forming in the wax. Short burn times also encourage tunnelling, so it is best to continue to burn your candle for longer periods if possible (3 hours is good, and up to 4 hours at a time). Whilst it might not be possible to achieve a full melt pool on the first burn of the larger 180g tin, please burn for 4 hours on the first lighting and a good 4 hours thereafter
